I ensure a client-centered, confidential, and safe environment online for my clients. My counseling approach also draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). ACT is a mindfulness-based behavioural therapy that encourages self-compassion, acceptance, and committed action aligned with personal values. ACT promotes cognitive, behavioural, and emotional flexibility. This means learning to unhook from the thoughts and beliefs holding you back so you can carry on living. Through collaborative goal-setting, mindfulness practices, and purposeful action (e.g. exposure exercises), you can confidently move forward and cultivate the life that you desire.
$100/per session (50 minutes)
As a registered member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), Gemma adheres to the ethical guidelines outlined by the ACA and stays current with best practices through regular participation in professional development and supervision.
